looking for some advice or clarity…

got an extremely faint positive on an easy @ home test on Thursday. Have tested everyday since with those and they’ve got slightly darker but still faint.

Brought some FRER and I can’t see any progression today from yesterday if anything I think it looks lighter? Or maybe I’m just being paranoid. Bottom is todays top is yesterdays.

not having any pain or bleeding etc.

With my last pregnancy leading up to a the missed period, all my tests had different lines of strength. One day it would be bright and thick and the next would be weak. I would probably stop a testing for a week otherwise you'll go mad xx

@Rubylu if one of those tests was 14dpo then I’ll be honest and say they do seem faint. My tests on 14dpo were like this with both of my CPs. It doesn’t mean it will be the same for you that was just my experience. HCG doubles every 48 hours at this stage so may not change much if at all one day after another, it’s better to take them every other day. I would wait until Tuesday and do another frer and see if they line is darker. I really hope it’s all ok 💕

Thankyou @allgoodthings84 fingers crossed 🤞

@JamMakingWannaBe no this is afternoon wee, I was using the easy @ home for my morning wee and they were very faint so i took these later in the day on both days for some reassurance

You need to test with first morning wee for it to be accurate to compare from one day to the next

If that image is from 14DPO I will say it’s very very faint

Maybe give it a few days and do another test with first morning urine.
This happened to me recently and it was hard to wait but it’s the only way to be sure.

It is faint but not a complete squinter, so could be late implantation. I'd keep testing every day and every couple of days. Or go for a blood test for something more accurate. Fingers crossed.

Hi I'm sorry to add this, I've had three chemical pregnancies the last three months in a row and what happened for me would be around the time my period was due, I would test positive with a really faint line. However, the lines never got any darker. I would then start bleeding a few days to a week and a half later unfortunately.
Hope this isn't the case for you 💗

If these are both afternoon tests then you cannot compare lines , it will give you varied results depending on the time you've held, how much you've drank, especially with you being so early.

Take tests first thing in the morning as this will have the most concentrated hormone level and if you really want to test in the afternoon, limit your liquid intake and hold for 3-4 hours! Hopefully this will give you peace of mind , my fingers are crossed for positive outcomes Positive pregnancy tests not getting darker | Mumsnet (3)

Hello,

I was using the Frer since last week. I am around 15dpo, my test yesterday was super faint, it looked even fainter than the day before (the testing becomes obsessive). I told myself I was going to wait until Wednesday to test, but I cracked today and the line is blazing! Don’t give up hope on those faint lines. Sometimes an extra day can really help. I will try to attach pics.
